• Online Donations - Like many other non-profit organizations, Avon Dollars For Scholars recognizes the generousity of our donors at the following levels:

          $2,500 +                    Doctorate

          $1,000 – $2,499         Masters

          $500 – $999               Bachelors

          $300 – $499               Associates

          $100 – $299               Diploma

          $1 - $99                     Friend

• Annual mailing – Each spring, Avon Dollars For Scholars conducts an Annual town-wide mailing, reaching out for the support of all residents and businesses in Avon.  We appreciate any an all gifts.  Donations can be made in remembrance or in honor of a friend, relative, or colleague.  For a donation of $300 or more, you may give a scholarship in the name of your choice.  The following is a link to our current donation brochure.

 

• Endowments – Consider making a bequest.  Bequests of $10,000 or more allow a permanent scholarship to be created, to be given annually in the name of the donor’s choice.

• Note Cards -  Avon Dollars For Scholars sells packets of notecards as a year-round fundraising activity.  “Education Lights the Way” is a brand new design by artist Christine Pappalardo Greif that graces the front of the notecards. The design was inspired by the artist’s many trips to Cape Cod and its lighthouses. Greif graduated from Avon High School in 1987 and lives in town. She was hit by a drunk driver 11 years ago and the accident left her with limited ability to walk, eat and speak.  A package of five notecards is on sale for $10 and are available by calling Cindy Hopper at 860-673-2278. Avon Dollars for Scholars has established a scholarship in honor of Christine Pappalardo Greif for her art.
